Sustainable Seafood...

I had a great time working with The Local Palate on a story about about sustainable seafood which is in the June/July 2014 issue. I learned a lot about seafood and how the sustainable market works and doesn't work. There are a lot of hard working fisherman that need their product used locally and purchased through the proper channels. The more this product is used in local restaurants and purchased by local residents the better!

So go out and buy some local seafood!

Aebleskiver...

These Danish treats are quite tasty! If you don't know about Aebleskiver, you're definitely missing out. Basically these are rolled pancakes that are made in a special cast iron pan. They are fun to make and are even more fun to eat. These are the traditional Aebleskiver recipe, but you can also add in fruit, jam and even chocolate to the inside to jazz them up. Now go get your Aebleskiver pan and enjoy!

Enchiladas...

If anyone knows me they know that I love mexican food! One of my favorites is homemade chicken enchiladas! If anyone is planning on cooking in this beautiful weather we are gonna have this weekend in the south, consider this as an option. Email me and I'll send you the recipe for these. Raspberry Lemonade..

It's that time of year, lots of bright spring/summer images to start sharing. Today we've got a refreshing raspberry lemonade garnished with lime. This weekend might be a good time to give this a try at home. Maybe add an adult twist, sit on a porch swing and imbibe!
